Glass Night – November 2, 2011

Tonight’s glass is Foothills – filled with either Hoppyum or People’s Porter. Since the Fire Sale tonight is that abhorrent Shiner Bock, I decided to hit the featured beer out of the gate.

My usual Glass Night compatriots are missing, so I get to post in their absence. They feel ignored if I work on a post when we are at the bar, which is why postings are thin.

Much better than that crappy Shiner Bock!

Another good thing about glass night is I get to meet people who homebrew or are interested in homebrewing.  I was joined by a young female friend of mine who had just taken the plunge into homebrewing.  She was making an amber ale for her first batch and had just transferred it to secondary fermentation.  I really enjoy being able to discuss my favorite hobby with somebody over good beers!
